South Korea Nears US Beef Pact

South Korea is on the brink of being strong-armed by trade threats into accepting US beef, despite its concerns over mad cow fears. The US had threatened to torpedo a major trade agreement with the Seoul unless leaders there threw out their current restrictions against importing beef from older cattle. Hooray for the free market!
