Probably the best thing so far to come out of all the hype that vat meat is receiving is it has allowed for some great anti-meat arguments to enter the public discourse. Like this passage published by today’s Los Angeles Times blog:
…[E]ven if you don’t give a hang about the multiple billions of blameless creatures slaughtered every year to feed our species, perhaps you do give a hang about how much, or how little, time our species might have left on the planet.
