There’s a beef company that has been testing all its cattle for mad cow, and fighting the US government to be able to label its beef as such. Now, the Bush administration has urged the judge to force the company to stop its testing. Because, you know, why should consumers be able to have total confidence that they can buy beef that’s BSE-free?
Hats off to George Bush and the gang. You’ve got to be pretty darned evil for a beef company to be totally in the right, and justifiably perceived as the good guys, in a legal dispute. (Thanks, Kara!) Link.
