Grist.org has a nice piece with some new info on the MRSA situation. It turns out the USDA seems to have a strategy for MSRA that will be strikingly familiar to anyone who remembers how the agency responded to mad cow:
1) Make no effort to test animals.
2) You won’t find anything to worry about.
3) Business can continue as usual.
Expect this story to attract sufficient researchers and journalists to dig up some fresh dirt in the near future. I’m betting this will be big. Link.
