Avian Flu Appears in Hong Kong: Cull Ordered

There’s been another appearance of H5N1 avian flu, this time in Hong Kong. The government has ordered a cull of live chickens at the city’s markets. Thousands of birds will be killed and disposed of, and with luck the world will once again dodge a pandemic. Link.
