The news just hit the wires that Randy Pausch, author of The Last Lecture, has died. For the past 22 months, Pausch had been living with terminal cancer, and spending much of his time speaking and writing to help the rest of us get the most out of our lives. If you haven’t watched his lecture on Achieving Your Childhood Dreams, it’s quite worthwhile. Most stuff on this topic tends to be new agey and incredibly annoying, but this piece rises above the pack by offering hardheaded practical advice with zero fluff. I don’t think anyone has ever faced death more courageously. Link.
