Mark Hawthorne just published a terrific entry on his blog about the strategies a group of UK activists are using to get foie gras off the menus of their local restaurants. It’s all straight out of Henry Sprira’s playbook: approach the restaurant privately and respectfully and ask for a meeting. Then only take the matter public if your negotiations don’t produce results. Link.
