I was hoping this was some sort of hoax, but apparently it isn’t. Burger King is now selling a body spray, called “Flame.”
What does it smell like?
The scent of seduction with just a hint of flame-broiled meat.
Burger King is famous in advertising circles for running one ineffective advertising campaign after another, and it looks to me like this Flame idea will go up in, well, flames. I think the company’s real hope is that the availability of this admittedly weird product will grab headlines and give Burger King some free publicity. I doubt anyone, even Burger King’s own marketing people, views this as a viable long-term product. Link.
