FDA Won’t Require Labeling of GM Animal Products

With just two days left running the FDA, the Bush administration is taking one final opportunity to give Americans the finger.

95 percent of Americans say meat and milk obtained from genetically engineered animals ought to be labeled as such. But the Bush administration has sided with agribusiness and has ruled this labeling unnecessary.

Here’s a great reason to avoid animal products that I never hear anyone offer: the stuff is produced by an industry that’s overtly hostile to the wishes of their customers. Link.
