Humans Eat A Billion Frogs Each Year

Frog populations worldwide are being decimated due to habitat loss and because a surprisingly huge number are being eaten by humans—a new estimate puts the number at a billion frogs each year. Obviously, an aggressive internationally-coordinated governmental intervention is urgently needed. But the chances of that happening appear nonexistent. Just ask the tuna. (Thanks, Matthew.) Link.
