(Via American News Project.) Let’s be frank. Could anything possibly be more yawn-inducing than a video about National School Lunch Program policy? I mean, you undoubtedly already know that the USDA is totally sold out to meat industry interests, and lobbyists therefore exert disgusting levels of control when it comes to determining how America’s school kids eat.
I’ve followed this topic for years and have written about it previously. But even I had no idea just how brazen industry reps are in pushing their agenda at policy meetings. And tragically, while meat and soda lobbyists fill up the room, there’s not a veggie lobbyist in sight. Finally, and amazingly (given the subject matter), this seven minute video is riveting.
