I think we’re all pretty much burned out on bacon flu by now, and ready for this story to peter out.
Unfortunately, the virus is not courteous enough to follow the standard American news cycle. Today’s CDC figures show another big spike in total cases. We’ve gone from 403 cases in 38 states yesterday to 642 cases in 41 states today.
Also, the flu has killed its first American.
