Maryland’s Attorney General has written an article for the Washington Post about arsenic in chicken feed. Its use is widespread, it poses human health and environmental risks, and, as always, chicken growers are getting a free pass. This is yet another sign of the contempt the meat industry holds for the public health. Fortunately, a coordinated effort is now underway to outlaw arsenic use in the chicken industry.
