Heart Association Says Eat Less Sugar

The American Heart Association is saying Americans should, on average, cut between half to two-thirds of their processed sugar consumption.

I’ve personally noticed that when I changed my diet to include plenty of nutrient-rich fruits, my cravings for processed sugar disappeared. I wish the Heart Association would have emphasized fruit consumption as a strategy for meeting its processed sugar guidelines. Link to study. Reuters coverage.
