Here’s a lengthy New York Times Magazine excerpt from the upcoming Jonathan Safran Foer book, Eating Animals. I’ve got a galley proof copy on my desk that I’ll be starting this weekend.
Since this is a book from a big-name author, and it doesn’t seem to wholeheartedly endorse vegetarianism, it’s likely to get a lot of attention. I’ll have to read the whole book before I can have an opinion on whether it’ll do more good than harm. But, in any case, this excerpt is well worth reading. (Thanks, Gowri.) Link.
