Swine Flu Infects Canadian and American Turkeys

Swine flu has made its way into turkeys, in both the United States and in Canada. Whenever the flu jumps into a new species, the chances grow that the virus will mutate in a catastrophic manner, becoming either much more contagious or more lethal. (Thanks, Bea and Larry.)
