USDA Seeks to Reduce Methane Emissions at Dairies

The USDA wants to cut methane emissions at dairies by 25 percent by having farmers install devices to capture methane from manure. Naturally, the USDA would never consider the low-tech approach of simply encouraging people to drink less milk. We wouldn’t want word to get out that people have the ability to slash their dairy-based methane footprints to zero. (Via Starkman.) Link.
