Another sign that animal cruelty goes completely unconsidered where ethics is concerned.
The Covalence research firm, which specializes in ranking companies according to their ethical qualities, just released its report listing the world’s twelve least ethical companies. Animal suffering obviously didn’t factor in: there’s not a single meat, egg, or dairy company ranked among the twelve. Suggesting that Ryanair could somehow be a less ethical company than factory farming and slaughter giant Tyson Foods boggles the imagination.
Happily, though, Monsanto was ranked #1—that’s something at least. Link.
