Vegan cookbook publishers overwhelmingly weight their releases to the final quarter of each year in order to cash in on holiday sales. So it’s been a few months since we’ve had a new release that I’m excited about. Tamasin Noyes’ American Vegan Kitchen is the first book of 2010 that really grabs me. Here’s the endorsement I provided the publisher:
Imagine taking classic American favorites for breakfast, lunch, dinner, side dishes, and dessert, and veganizing them in the most exciting ways imaginable. That’s just what Tamasin Noyes has done here. American Vegan Kitchen offers a staggering assortment of the best American-style comfort food that I’ve ever seen.
What we’ve got here is outstanding diner-style food, made vegan. This is one vegan cookbook even your father could get excited about.
