Dr. Evil just wrote a hit piece for Nation’s Restaurant News, which attacks HSUS in every conceivable way. As with everything Berman spews out, every word of this article is disingenuous. Berman’s motivation here isn’t really that HSUS is failing dogs and cats, but rather that the group’s efforts to torpedo factory farming is gaining ground—while posing grave risks to Berman’s sponsors.
If HSUS were blowing its contributors’ money by sending its top executives on cocaine-fueled junkets to Vail, we wouldn’t be hearing a peep out of Berman.
