It looks like another wave of swine flu has returned. For now, the bug is concentrated in the Southeastern United States. The article also has this interesting nugget of information that I hadn’t seen before:
Most years, more than 90% of people who died of flu were elderly. This year, 90% of deaths have been in people under age 65.
It’ll be worth keeping an eye on things for the next week or two, to see if the virus starts spreading to other parts of the United States. Link.
