Scripps oceanography researchers have made an predictable but nevertheless disturbing discovery. Some bottom-of-the-foodchain fish have been found ingesting tiny pieces of plastic floating in the oceans. When these small fish are in turn eaten by bigger fish, which are in turn eaten by people—well, guess where those plastic chemicals end up?
