Hot Dogs are Health Food

April 19, 2010

Trent Loos and his scarf are back for another YouTube appearance, offering another round of the sort of pro-meat talk that only the Trentster can do.

This time around, he says with a straight face that the nitrates in hot dogs are good for you. Why? Because heart patients are given nitrate-containing drugs. Trent concludes:

So the next time you go to a baseball game, enjoy that hot dog without guilt and you too can live a healthier life.

You can’t make this stuff up. Just don’t pay any attention to all that pesky evidence tying red meat to colon cancer, MmmKay? Link.
