In yet another sign that America has jumped the shark, KFC has canceled its plan to retire the Double Down sandwich this Sunday. Sales of this nutritional disaster have been stronger than expected, and it’s looking like the 10 millionth Double Down will be sold this month. So KFC is keeping the damned thing on the menu, at least through the summer.
For those of you late to the party, the Double Down is made from bacon and cheese sandwiched between two pieces of KFC’s supremely nasty factory farmed chicken. Link.
