Acne, Dairy, and Vegan Living

July 19, 2010

It’s funny how many routes people take to becoming vegan. I love this account from Caity McCardell on how her adult acne led her to becoming vegan for ethical reasons.

Animal cruelty considerations aside, milk is a freakish food that I bet many Americans would never go back to if they experienced a month of living dairy-free. I personally didn’t notice any difference in how I felt when I cut out meat and eggs, but I became a whole new guy once I quit dairy products. Granted, I was still a complete bastard, but I nevertheless felt like a whole new guy—but anyway, let’s not get off topic.

Have you been meaning to finally give dairy the boot, and have just been looking for an excuse? Sign this little pledge form to make your commitment official, and I’ll email you some helpful info. Link.
