A huge egg recall has just been announced as a result of a salmonella outbreak. The number of eggs hasn’t been revealed, but since the store brands of some leading supermarkets are involved, I bet the number will reach into the millions. This could easily turn into the largest egg recall in history.
As with most meat recalls, it’s a near certainty that most of the eggs targeted by the recall have already been eaten. (Via Hawthorne.) Link.
