There are no doubt a thousand reasons to go vegan, but it’s insane to ever mention reason #768. Instead, we need clean and focused sound bites for the top three reasons, drawn from accurate sources.
You know you’re on the right track when you avoid making yourself the focus of discussion. Instead, it’s about an out-of-control industry that brutalizes every animal it comes into contact with, while playing fast and loose with the public health.
Rather than raise some spurious gallons-of-water-to-a-pound-of-beef claim, why not just say that you’re opposed to harming animals unnecessarily and you don’t want to support an industry run by a bunch of sociopaths? Link.
