McDonald’s Canada is running a contest in which they’ll select three mommy-bloggers, and name them “all-access moms.”
Leaving aside the fact that this sounds like a porno movie title, I bet the company won’t be selecting any moms who have demonstrated a strong commitment to healthful eating or animal welfare.
Fortunately, there’s at least one Canadian mommy-blogger who has no interest in becoming a corporate shill, and she lets McDonald’s have it in her blog entry and accompanying video.
It would be the coolest thing ever if somebody with a similar perspective could fake a sincere-sounding application to McDonald’s. Imagine what a PR disaster McDonald’s would have on its hands if the company unwittingly selected someone with strong critical thinking skills for this program. (Via Simon.) Link
