Some wonderful news today: 7-Eleven has rolled out four vegan meals at about a hundred locations in the Northeast US. The meals are:
- Vegan Linguine Tikka Massala
- Vegan Pad Thai Noodles
- Vegan Asian Linguine
- Vegan Spinach Noodles with Vegetable
Late last year, 7-Eleven launched a pilot program at eight New York City stores that featured four other ready-to-eat vegan meals. It seems clear that they sold well enough to convince the company to take the next step.
Lets hope these new products get strong enough sales to convince the company to launch them nationally. 7-Eleven deserves heaps of praise for this initiative. Participating locations have been posted at HSUS’ farm animal protection campaign page on Facebook.
