Factory Farm Groups Continue Opposition to Battery Cage Ban

A good article by Dan Wheat in the Capital Press reports that America’s factory farming lobbies are bringing out the heavy artillery in an effort to thwart an upcoming bill that would regulate egg producers and ultimately ban battery cages. The pork, dairy, beef, and turkey people are obviously terrified that their industries will be the next target of the Humane Society of the United States’ regulatory initiatives. Link.
