Vegan Hair Oil: Recommended Cruelty-Free Brands

When it comes to hair oil, most brands are vegan by default. That’s because this product typically contains nothing more than vegetable-based oils plus a bit of fragrance. Still, since cosmetics companies  enjoy messing things up for no good reason, you should always check the label.

Anyway, it’s great that hair oil essentially never contains animal ingredients. That’s a big departure from other cosmetics like hair conditioner or lipstick. These and most other types of cosmetics typically won’t be vegan.

So even though pretty much every brand of hair oil just happens to be vegan, you might as well support a company that consistently follows a cruelty-free ethos. Maui Moisture offers a great product that’s inexpensive and made from high-quality oil. What’s more, the company’s entire product line is vegan and formulated without animal testing.

Vegan Hair Oil Brands

As you can see from the following list, you’ve got a ton of great choices. This is such a basic product that I’ve skipped listing products that cost a lot. You can buy a large bottle of premium oil, sourced from organic ingredients, for surprisingly little money.

Any of these products will also work great for men who want to condition their beards.

Finally, if you’re purchasing hair oil, you can probably use some cruelty-free shampoo to go with it. We’ve got you covered there too, with our list of the best vegan shampoos.
