Veggie Grill: a Vegan Restaurant Chain

Veggie Grill is an entirely vegan fast-casual restaurant chain. It offers a fantastic selection of American-style diner food. The menu gets a new round of seasonally-oriented updates every few months, delivering a variety of choices that other chains can’t match. With more than thirty locations nationwide, Veggie Grill operates more vegan restaurants in the United States than any chain except Loving Hut.

Kevin Boylan and T.K. Pillan founded the company, with the guidance of restaurateur Ray White. The first Veggie Grill opened in 2006 in Irvine, California.

Veggie Grill’s Menu

The menu features hearty burgers, wraps, salads, grilled items, and delicious desserts. Be sure to try the carrot cake! Side dishes include sweet potato fries, buffalo wings, and crispy cauliflower. They also offer a children’s menu that includes chickin’ nuggets and mac-n-cheese.

The food is reasonably priced. You get an all-vegan menu at prices only a little higher than Denny’s. If you care about nutrition, you’re in luck. The chain features a nutritional calculator on its website breaking down every single item on the menu.

The dining experience offers a clean and comfortable atmosphere and plentiful seating. The chain has won numerous awards, including being named, “Best American Restaurant” by the Los Angeles Times.
